Aperture - AI Tools Directory - Next.js Directory Template

Aperture is a production-ready directory template, demoed as an AI tools directory and trivially re-skinnable into any 'directory of X' - software, jobs, agencies, places, or resources.

It is built around the one thing a directory lives or dies by: discovery and SEO. Every tool gets a statically generated detail page and a programmatic '/alternatives/[tool]' comparison page (ranked table plus cards), so a 30-tool catalogue ships 60+ indexable, high-intent pages out of the box. Category and collection landing pages carry editorial intro copy and ItemList JSON-LD, the blog adds Article structured data, and there is a generated sitemap and per-page canonical metadata.

The interface is premium and content-forward: an art-directed hero with a layered 'tool of the moment' card, a Cmd+K command palette for instant fuzzy search, faceted filtering (category, pricing, platform, tags) with removable chips and load-more, hover-lift listing cards with category app-icons, and CSS-rendered product-screenshot mockups so the template ships with zero image assets. Save any tool to a personal library persisted in localStorage via a typed, unit-tested reducer.
