1. License Types

Each template is sold under one of three license tiers. The license purchased determines what you may do with the template's source code. Pricing is per template and shown on the product page at checkout - no universal price applies across all templates.

You may customize, rebrand, and deploy templates within your tier limits. You are not required to disclose to clients or end users that a project used a TheKitBase template.

2. What You May Not Do

Regardless of license tier, you may not:

• Resell, give away, or redistribute the template source code (in whole or in part) as a standalone theme or template product
• Upload or list the template on competing marketplaces (ThemeForest, Gumroad, Creative Market, etc.)
• Claim authorship of the original template design or code
• Use the template to build a product that directly competes with TheKitBase as a template marketplace
• Transfer your license to another individual or organisation without prior written consent

3. Purchases & Payment

All purchases on TheKitBase are processed by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record. This means Dodo Payments is the seller of record for your purchase and is responsible for:

• Processing and collecting your payment
• Calculating and remitting buyer-side taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) in applicable jurisdictions
• Issuing your purchase receipt
• Holding all payment card data -TheKitBase does not receive or store card details

After payment is confirmed by Dodo Payments, TheKitBase will deliver your license key and a signed download link to the email address used at checkout. Delivery is by email only -there is no repository access or Git-based delivery.

Prices are displayed in USD on the product page. Dodo Payments may display or charge in your local currency at checkout. All prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

4. Refunds

Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If a template does not match its description, a critical issue prevents it from functioning as advertised, or you purchased the wrong item by mistake, contact us and we will work to resolve it.

Because source code is delivered upon purchase, we do not offer automatic or unconditional refunds. See our full Refund Policy for eligibility criteria, exclusions, and how to submit a request.

5. Updates

Updates are provided for the duration specified in your license tier - 6 months for Solo, 1 year for Team, and lifetime for Agency, measured from your original purchase date.

Updates include dependency upgrades, bug fixes, and new features added to the template. Updates are delivered via email and re-download links - not via repository or Git access. You will be notified by email when a significant update is available for a template you have purchased.

6. Intellectual Property

TheKitBase retains all intellectual property rights to the original template designs and code. Your license grants you the right to use, modify, and deploy the code -it does not transfer ownership of the original intellectual property.

Any modifications you make to a template are your own work and owned by you.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Templates are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to ensure quality and correctness, but do not guarantee that templates will be error-free or fit every specific use case. Review the live preview and description carefully before purchasing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheKitBase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our templates, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the template in question.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us in good faith at legal@thekitbase.app to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customers by email. Where applicable, your existing purchases remain under the Terms in effect at the time of purchase. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for future purchases.
