About this template

Stockwell is the catalog's largest storefront - a single-brand general retailer for everyday tech, home, kitchen, desk, everyday carry, outdoors and apparel, modelled on a big marketplace but rendered to a high craft bar. It ships the whole buyer journey across 10 routes: a browse hub with a deals rail and a real 'most ordered' ranking; a results view where search and every facet (category, price, brand, rating, availability, on-sale) are URL-driven with live counts; category pages; a product page with an image gallery, variant selection, a calm delivery panel, tabbed Overview / Specs / Reviews / Q&A, a rating histogram with helpful votes, and frequently-bought-together bundles; a cart with save-for-later; a four-step checkout (address, delivery, payment, review) that ends in an order-confirmation state with a 4-node tracking bar; a deals page with a countdown and claimed-stock bars; a wishlist; and an account area with sample orders, addresses, and an order-detail route showing live tracking progress. A right-side AI shopping assistant reads the typed catalogue and returns ranked picks with reasoning from a deterministic keyword + budget matcher - no API key, works offline; swap in a real model behind one documented function. Cart and wishlist are pure, unit-tested reducers persisted to localStorage. The 'Warm Mono' design system is near-monochrome on a warm ground - bone paper and warm charcoal rather than stark white and true black, with no bright accent colour: the product photography supplies all the colour, alternating full-width warm-paper product grids with full-bleed image and warm near-black editorial bands for contrast, and reserving a single red purely for sale tags. Instrument Serif sets the display type - hero, section heads, the specimen and the wordmark - over an Instrument Sans body, figures in tabular numerals. Product images sit on hairline-framed plates that lift on hover, the bone ground carries a faint grain, and sections reveal on scroll. It reskins from a single CSS variable and includes a flash-free dark mode. Strict TypeScript, per-route metadata and JSON-LD (Product, AggregateRating, BreadcrumbList, ItemList, Organization), sitemap and robots, no backend or environment variables required to run.
